About Me:

I’m Sheila Madonia-Maberry, a literary manager at BAM Management and an MFA graduate in writing from Albertus Magnus College. As both a champion of stories and a creator, I write poetry, microfiction, short stories, and—hopefully—a novel or two. My poetry has been published in journals across Connecticut and Missouri, bridging my creative roots between where I studied and the place I call home.

Currently, I’m knee-deep in crafting my debut short story compilation (spoiler: it’s fueled by Earl Grey, honey, and emotionally driven characters' journeys that I hope resonate with my readers).

My stories are shaped by a life lived across multiple states, but Missouri is the thread that ties them all together. From winding highways to quiet backroads, the people and places of the Midwest—especially the Show-Me State—appear again and again in my work.
